The Catholic Committee on Scouting for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles (CCSALA) is a member of the National Catholic Committee on Scouting . The National Catholic Committee on Scouting is an advisory to Scouting America and seeks to sustain and strengthen the relationship between Scouting America and the Catholic Church in the United States.

The CCSALA is a committee of Scouters and clergy, within the Archdiocese of Los Angeles who see the program of the Boy Scouts of America as a viable form of youth ministry with the Catholic youth of our nation. CCSALA's main goal is the promotion of the Religious Emblems program for Catholic Scouting youth.
